Bistro Ravioli (where I attempt to write my first food “review”)

Note: Friends always tell me that I have great taste in food (that or I’m always lucky ordering the good ones). Some suggested that I try to write a food review.  Not much of a review, but it’s worth a try. Lol.

Last weekend, I went to MOA with Gay,  Jurijs, and Eugene. Since Jurijs is a big fan of pasta, we decided to eat at this place called Bistro Ravioli:

I ordered Salmon Ravioli with Saffron cream. Because I love salmon and saffron (LOL). Also because I was craving for Smoked Salmon and Asparagus Risotto from Buon Giorno. I think it was worth it for 190Php. I wasn’t able to finish it though because I was still full with my mom’s binagoongan (I love meals prepared by my parents and my brothers <3).

“Ano yung tawag sa inorder mo?”
“Masarap.”

Gay ordered Quattro Formagi pizza (325Php), which was brick-oven-baked. You can see how they prepare the pizza which was interesting to my inner child :p. I loved this one because of the crust and how it was prepared. I prefer thin crust pizza over the thick crust ones. It makes me enjoy the toppings more. It’s also less oily than other four-cheese pizzas that I’ve tried.

I forgot what Gay ordered for Jurijs but it’s like cheese ravioli. She said the Salmon tastes better. I ordered watermelon shake with my meal (Gay opted for the red iced tea). It’s no different with the other watermelon shakes I tasted, but it went well with what I ordered. Either that or I just really love watermelon shakes (and mango-banana).

Overall, if there’s a Bistro Ravioli somewhere in Ortigas, someone should tell me. It’s worth trying again and their menu is interesting. I want to try their Panna-Cotta and Spinach and Feta Cheese Ravioli. I wouldn’t go all the way to Makati or Pasay just for it though. I can have my ravioli fix at CBTL.
